The Johnny Fountain Project
ABOUT JOHNNY FOUNTAIN: Johnny was born in Bangor, Maine, on December 22, 1982.
He was a musician, writer, brother, son, cousin, mixologist, heartthrob, mentor, and goofball. He was witty, stubborn, compassionate, adventurous, wild-hearted, and lived more in 32 years than some people live in a lifetime.
Cancer took Johnny to the next "Grand Adventure," as he called it, on December 6, 2015. His spirit lives on through infinite avenues—this Project is but one.
ABOUT THE PROJECT: The Johnny Fountain Project is twofold: 1) Spread Johnny's wisdom through creation and sales of photo magnets 2) Support The Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy by donating 10% of proceeds and increasing awareness of immunotherapy research.
ABOUT THE PHOTOS: Sarah Fountain, Johnny's younger sister, moved to Maine to be with him following his diagnosis. All photos for sale were taken during their 18 months together. Each photo has been turned into a magnet, with inscriptions on the back. The inscriptions have been taken from Johnny's musical lyrics and a variety of writings found in his notebooks and computers after his passing.
